From March 17th to 19th, 2023, show jumping specialists have only one goal: to win the Grand Prix Hermès. Throughout the increasingly challenging events, classified at CSI 5* level, these world class riders and mounts display their prowess with breathtaking grace and mastery. There are alternating competitions reserved for young riders, team and individual events. Show jumping enthusiasts will admire the subtle details of the discipline, but there’s also plenty to enjoy in this intense yet elegant tournament for those who are unfamiliar with the sport.
What you need to know about the competition
Due to current renovation work on the Grand Palais, the Saut Hermès has been taking place at the Grand Palais Éphémère. This temporary wooden structure, a marvel of design and technique, is situated at the foot of the Eiffel Tower and provides the perfect setting for this competition. The three days of the event also feature shows and carriage races to demonstrate all the facets of equestrian artistry. What’s more, a celebratory night is planned for Saturday March 18th, adding an extra touch of magic to the whole.
